Skirmishing among colleagues is a fun way to unwind. It promotes camaraderie among comrades and it will test your strategic skills, agility, flexibility, and timing. One of the greatest players in this wholesome warfare is the sniper. And a sniper – despite his great skill would amount to nothing without the proper equipment.

The Crosman Stinger R34 Tactical is perhaps one of the greatest airsoft rifles you can lay your hands on. It enables its handler to take short-range and long-range shots – perfect for retaining the sniper’s stealth and strategic position. While it may not be the common shooter’s rave in terms of firing mechanism, the Stinger is a spring air repeater that packs a lot of oomph into ever BB it shoots.

What to expect from the Crosman Stinger R34 Airsoft Rifle

It is modeled after special Ops soldiers’ M4, keeping it a spitting image to the real thing.

It weighs a comfortable 2.04 kg (4.5 lbs.) that makes it easy to carry around, ready for combat at any given time. This makes the Stinger 34 a flexible rifle that could be switched between a sniper rifle and an assault rifle.

With the awesome hop up system, it enables the handler to have increased accuracy, distance and agility.

It has a four-sided rail that enables you to efficiently mount a number of useful accessories such as a tactical scope and flashlight among others.

It is a spring action repeater that packs as much as 310 to 375 FPS; giving it an added advantage for both short-range and long-range shots.

Holds 18 BBs in the clip and another 400 in the reservoir with a quick-reload function.

It has blade front sights, Peep rear sights, and an Electronic Red Cross Sight for its accessory that offers better accuracy

The LED flashlight is awsome, but the scope is even better. Most reviews say the scope is terrible, but all you have to do is move it around the rail until its in perfect position, about five minutes is all that takes.

Says Tha Killa “Sam” about this gun here

The barrel is made from precision aluminum with a length of 11.1 cm or 4.37 inches and the overall length is about 23.75 inches or 60.33 cm to 33.5 inches or 85.09 cm – perfect for any built that even a 13-year old can handle without a hitch.

The stock can be easily removed to enhance stability.

Comes in two colors – black and clear that provides you with the flexibility and advantage to use it with utmost stealth, depending on the setting.

This gun is really nice for beginning airsoft it is very accurate and shoot far. Also it hurt but not too hard. The red cross is ok but u wont gonna always use it. when i got the gun, i thought the flashlight was not useful, i was wrong. When you are the night the flashlight don’t just illuminate ur target it also make ur aim realy easiest too see. At all, it is a really good gun for the price and worth it.

Read more real customers reviews about this gun here

Is the Crosman Stinger R34 Tactical a Good Buy?

With the aforementioned features, there really isn’t much left to say to convince one to get a Crosman Stinger R34 Airsoft Rifle.

Individuals who want a reliable airsoft rifle in their hands would love the Stinger 34 Tactical. The features that it has to offer are more than enough to allow shooters to have the flexibility to move between sniping and head on combat. While some say that the limited 18-BB clip capacity tends to get annoying at times, it is more than enough to keep you afloat during tactical plays. And because it is easy to handle, a 13-year old will have no problems with it.

Crosman Stinger R34 - Clear Airsoft Rifle

With the clear version of the rifle, you will have the advantage of seeing how many BBs you have left in your clip. However, if you are playing at night with a clear rifle, make sure that you are not armed with glow in the dark BBs unless you want to give your position away. The black version is an awesome choice if you’re playing in a darker setting – just make sure that you keep a good position so the tip of the barrel won’t give you away.

Finally, with all the raves and great features that this rifle has to offer, it is affordable. At a mere $30, you will have more than enough left in your pocket to spend on other useful accessories. Moreover, because you’ll get 2 clips when you purchase the rifle, you won’t need to worry about spending on another clip, giving you the advantage to buy a really awesome sight or flashlight for night skirmishes.

Dragunov airsoft sniper rifles are well known for their effectiveness and fire power. Historically, the Dragunov sniper rifle was originally designed by Yevgeny Dragunov as part of a contest on weapon design. After several field tests conducted in varied environmental settings, Dragunov’s semi-automatic sniper rifle emerged as the top weapon and went into production for the Russian military’s use in 1963. Specifically, the Dragunov weapon stands out with its very original design as it was not made for the use of designate marksmen instead of the specialized snipers. Through the decades, the Dragunov sniper rifle made an impact on the military operations in many countries as the standard squad support weapon. Along the way, the long standing military legacy of the rifle also made impact in shooting sports with a line of Dragunov airsoft weapons which remains consistently popular among players of the sport.

Mechanically, the original Dragunov sniper rifle uses a short-stroke gas-piston mechanism to function (it was designed to be gas-operated) and its features include its utilization of a curved box magazine (ten rounds in capacity), the use of sniper cartridges for accurate firing, a two-piece wooden hand guard, a cheek rest for the user, and more. The rifle was also known for being relatively light for sniping use and because of this it eventually became the most convenient rifle of choice in any intense battle. More or less, these features are also present in Dragunov airsoft weapons and their functionality made them preferable among snipers. One of the most popular sniper rifles of choice is the <a title="JG AK SVD AK47 Airsoft AEG Sniper Rifle" href="http://www.airsoftgunreviews.net/DragunovAirsoft" rel="nofollow" onClick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview("/DragunovAirsoft");" >JG AK47 Airsoft Sniper Dragunov SVD Rifle which users have described to be a very durable and accurate weapon. The AK47 is also known for its timing hop up system that helps its user realize the fly distance as well as maintain sharp precision firing.
Another notable airsoft rifle is the high-end AEG Electric Dragunov Sniper Rifle which is ideal for continuous firing and all the user needs to do is just hold down the trigger and watch the shots fire away with a true feel of power. To this day, the notable features and design of the original Dragunov sniper rifle remain strongly relevant among Dragunov airsoft users and airsoft players in general.

Mauser Airsoft Sniper Rifle

The Mauser airsoft gun is one of the most popular lines of sporting weapons around. In fact, there are two variants of the Mauser airsoft weapon – sniper rifle and pistol. When it comes to sniper rifles, the Mauser has historical relevance as it was original designed after the cold winter rifle style. The Mauser sniper rifle was made to be efficiently used by shooters wearing thick gloves (supposedly to protect their hands from the cold) and that the user will still be able to aim accurately and fire shots in a timely manner. In fact, many airsoft enthusiasts arguably consider the Mauser Bolt Action rifle as one of the three best sniper rifles in the sport. Another worthy Mauser rifle to consider is the Mauser Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle which is designed to not just look intimidating (it is colored black and has a solid build) but also fire powerful shots. Anyone who uses this rifle with a scope attached to it is easily feared by opposing players. Aside from that, the Mauser Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle also creates one of the most realistic sounds with each shot.

Mauser Airsoft Pistol

Even Mauser airsoft pistols in airsoft have their respective historical links. Take note of the Mauser M712 “Broomhandle” which is one of the major variants of the Mauser C96, a semi-automatic pistol that was produced in Germany from 1896 to 1937. The M712 is easily recognized for having a separate cut-out in is base (where a long 26-round magazine is meant to be inserted) as well as having plastic grips, a nicely painted frame and barrel, full-metal rear sight and overall solid feel for the user’s hand. Its unusual design and solid performance on firing shots make it stand out among airsoft pistols.

To put into perspective the background of Mausers, it is important to know about the German arms maker behind it. Mauser is best known for manufacturing a long line of bolt-action rifle and pistols for over one hundred twenty years. Through the decades, Mauser’s military designs were licensed and exported to some countries and eventually contributed to the line of civilian firearms. The company and its weapons unsurprisingly made an impact in airsoft through the Mauser airsoft pistols and the rest was history.

A little info on the SIG 552 commando rifle

The Original SIG SG 552 - Double Eagle M82 was made after this real rifle

SIG seems to have a little winner with their 552 Commando(the rifle’s full numeric designation is actually 552-2P). Just like all the other mini-assault rifles out there, the SIG 552 is designed for use in tight spots by special operators and air crew members.
What separates the SIG 552 from the rest of the competition is the engineered elegance of this little piece of lethal equipment. A number of very knowledgeable people in the small arms field have commented that the SIG 550 series rifles (all in 5.56mm) are probably the most beautifully engineered examples in their class. Swiss workmanship at its finest, and all that.

Back to the Double Eagle M82 Airsoft Rifle

Double Eagle M82 Pack

On the Double Eagle M82 airsoft rifle everything is adjustable, and it is simple to use, but at the same time it can be complex.
You get:
- The Double Eagle M82 gun (actually durable and shoots straight, never had problems so far)
- A magazine that can hold around 40 BBs
- Mock silencer – shoots BBs upwards or to the right, better without it)
- Red Cross Sight with battery – great, you can adjust it precisely, but it is cheap so the dot keeps shaking
- Laser
- Flashlight
- Handle
- Safety goggles
- Sling – small and tight, only for travel use, not firefight
- Cleaning Rod
- A bag of 6mm BBs
- Rechargeable battery with battery charger included
- User’s manual

Why get the Double Eagle M82?

- Because this gun is extremely durable, and you can’t beat this one for the price.
- Has good accuracy and great velocity (around 260 FPS)
- It looks and feel real, it’s a great replica of the SIG 552 Commander
- Comes super accessorized

What others who already bought it say about the Double Eagle M82?

I love how every single thing on this gun is adjustable. I opened it up and put in a 315 FPS spring just today, even though I’ve had it for 2 years. I let some clumsy friends use it and gave it a couple scars, but after lots of abuse, the gun still works great…

says S. Cluff (Northern VA United States) »

It hurts more than I thought it would, it’s great quality. The only recommendation I would make is if you’re buying it as a gift get two so you have something to defend your self with…

The new UHC 1911 airsoft pistol was released in 2004 and since then has proven to be the most reliable spring pistol UHC currently makes.

UHC is known for making great performing airsoft guns and the 1911 is no exception.

UHC 1911 is surprisingly accurate and has impressive range, perfect not only for target practice but also as a reliable side-arm out on the field.

Get it now for less then $20!

The UHC 1911 airsoft pistol authentically replicates the real M1911, semi-automatic pistol designed by John M. Browning back in 1911, firearm which was the standard-issue side arm for the United States armed forces from then to 1985.

<a onclick="javascript: pageTracker._trackPageview("href="http://www.airsoftgunreviews.net/UHC1911" rel="nofollow">
M1911A1

The M1911 is still carried by some U.S. forces. It was widely used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Its formal designation as of 1940 was Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911 for the original Model of 1911 or Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911A1 for the M1911A1, adopted in 1924. The designation changed to Pistol, Caliber .45, Automatic, M1911A1 in the Vietnam era.
In total, the United States procured around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols in military contracts during its service life.
The M1911 is also used by 28 other nations.

Back to the airsoft version of the 1911 from UHC:
The gun is very realistic, especially when it comes to it’s weight.

Peter from East Windsor, NJ, who owns several airsoft guns of various styles and types (springers, GBBs, AEGs, etc), thinks the UHC 1911 is by far, one of the finest pistols in his arsenal:

The M1911 has become one of my favorite guns. I am considering a M1911 real steel pistol as well and if it is anywhere near as nice as this airsoft gun, I will definitely add it to my collection. This is a heck of a gun for $20. It would be a bargain at double that.

Its magazine holds 19 BBs, it’s made from ABS and Metal (steel magazine, trigger, magazine release button, and CO2 chamber), weights 1.5 pounds and has a max velocity of 480 FPS.
The pistol features a smooth bore barrel, blade and ramp front sight, and a fixed rear sight.

The Beretta Elite II is powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge housed within the pistol’s grip. You can get over 90-100 shots out of a single 12g CO2 cartridge.

It’s ideal for target practice and sporting use, but not so fit for airsoft battles because it can really hurt.

Blake (Bakersfield, CA) says that Beretta Elite II is the best BB gun he ever bought!

… This gun is amazing! It shoots .177 BB’s, with 19 to each clip. It has great accuracy and power, which I can’t figure out because it also shoots 100+ shots per CO2 cartridge!…

For collectors, here are the similarities and differences from the 92G Elite II:

The Beretta Elite II Airsoft Pistol does not have the standard silver slide.

The 92G Elite II had no accessory rail.

The trigger seems to be bigger, as the size on a Beretta 92FS.

The Elite II 92G didn’t have as much polymer as the airsoft Beretta Elite II has.

The hammer pin is the same, however, it does not work.

The barrel size is bigger, such as a Beretta 92FS would have.

A grip for the 92G Elite II was similar to the one supplied on the airsoft Elite II.

The exposed front barrel was not available on the 92G Elite II.

Frank (JERSEY CITY, NJ United States), an army medic, says the weight of the Beretta Elite II CO2 Airsoft Pistol is almost the same as the real M9 he carries.

.. when I pulled it out at the range everyone thought it was real…

CO2 airsoft pistols use compressed carbon dioxide gas in order to drive airsoft pellets out of the pistol barrel at high speeds. Similar to the compressed air used in paintball, the compressed CO2 is contained in a canister that connects to the airsoft pistol through a valve. This valve is in turn connected to the trigger, and when the trigger is pulled a short burst of high speed CO2 flies into the pistol and then out of it through the least difficult path – the open barrel. This propulsive force is used to fire the airsoft pellet at a reliable, fast speed.

CO2 airsoft pistols are fundamentally different from spring airsoft pistols because they use an entirely different form of mechanical force to eject the airsoft pellet out the barrel. A spring can fire pellets reliably, but springs wear out over time – every time a spring is used to fire an airsoft pellet it deforms slightly, and over time force and accuracy decline.

The main advantage of CO2 airsoft pistols over spring fired models, and the main reason why any serious airsoft player should look at buying one of the many models available, is that gas canisters are not themselves part of the airsoft gun. They can be removed and replaced easily, and when the gas runs low they can be refilled and reused. Most canisters have an indicator that shows when the gas pressure is running low and therefore when a refill is needed. They won’t suffer from unpredictable but ever-slowing performance over time.

Another advantage: springs break. valves can break, but because there is less mechanical motion involved with opening and closing a valve it is less common. If a spring breaks inside an airsoft pistol it can take a lot of time to replace it. Not so with a gas powered pistol.

Looking for some Airsoft Gun Reviews?

We all know that finding a positive review on a gun can influence the decision to buy it. There are so many types of airsoft guns and come on, it’s impossible to know everything about all of them! What to do then? Look for some reviews. But here comes the trick:

Are all those reviews you will find really useful? Are all of them honest opinions? Or just under covered advertising to make you throw money out of your pockets on some lame toys that will break or get stocked the first time you fire them? Or even worst, will your team mates burst into laughs only when you will show up carrying one of these “great deals”?

Who writes those Airsoft Gun Reviews?
Did you think that all the reviews are written by mercenaries like me and you, who put passion in the game and know that at the end of the day the gun you are carrying is your only true ally? Men, then you are walking butt naked in front of a L96!

Those you are thinking about are called “costumer reviews”. Should you trust them? It’s your choice! I don’t always trust them if they are positive. Sometimes people (mostly newbie) get too enthusiasts when they buy a new gun much better then their first cheap airsoft gun got for $5. But if I find some negative reviews from more customers I tend to trust them.

There is another type of reviews known as expert reviews, but those are very hard to find.

And finally, the sneaky ones, the ones you should stay away from and not fall into their trap – bought airsoft gun reviews. There is this system where the manufacturer (or the seller if it’s a different company) of a new product pays a reviewer to review his new product. This system creates a kind of undercover advertising. Bought reviews obviously are biased, but exceptions may occur. It may also happen to find negative reviews that may be written by competitors, disgruntled employees, or anyone with a grudge against the manufacturer.

How to identify sneaky reviews? Well… you just use common sense. I personally consider „strange” reviews containing too much „poetry”. If a review looks like it has been written by a professional writer, chances are that the professional dude is more into the writing business than in the airsoft shooting business.

What is a “Great Deal” for you?
While looking for airsoft gun reviews you must also keep in mind that you may have different ideas on what “a great deal” means then the ones who wrote the reviews. What you want from a gun may not be the same as others are looking for. Everyone has his own priorities.

The 2 things that I look for in a gun are accuracy and quality. Quality probably is one of your criteria too. The others criteria must be chosen based on your own style. Maybe you look for guns with lots of bbs or batteries with high discharge rate… My advice is to choose your own criteria based on your style and only then begin to look for airsoft gun reviews.
